The triple-camera system on the rear of the Sony Xperia 1 V retains the Exmor RS for mobile 16mm ultra-wide and adjustable 85-125mm telephoto 12MP lenses. The wide-angle 24mm is back, but with a significant upgrade to an Exmor T for mobile, which incorporates a stacked, 2-layer structure that lets more light in for much better low-light results.
This is in addition to an improved 48MP (effective), 120 fps, autofocus, and OIS. As a system, other improvements include AF/AE tracking burst, but now up to 30 fps and with bokeh. The following system features continue to be available to creators:
- 4K 120 fps video recording
- Real-time Eye AF for all lenses
- Object tracking with Eye AF for video
- Seamless zoom for video
